HOW TO GROW

Sow seeds from March until June directly into the growing site, making sure the soil is finely prepared or use a good quality Top Soil product. Sorrel likes acid soil in sun or light shade. Thin the seedlings as they grow to a distance of 15cm apart. Harvest single leaves when large enough and cut off the flowering stalks to encourage more leaf growth.

Pests and diseases:
Sorrel is easy to grow and does not suffer from many pests or diseases. Slugs and snails can be a problem for the early, new season growth. Use RocketGro Mulch to fend of Slugs, by creating a barrier around the leaves, but do not let the Mulch touch the leaves.
