RocketGro Team
The RocketGro team are now up to 40 people strong and growing. With team members from England, Wales, Scotland, Latvia, Lithuania & Poland, we are a tapestry of nationalities and a great fun group to work with. A huge amount of time, preparation, care and effort goes into every bag & bottle of RocketGro. Together we are making RocketGro products progressively better and better to enable gardeners across the country achieve more Peat-Free growing success in their gardens, veg patches, allotments & homes. We are RocketGro.
Founders
Toby & Tim
Toby & Tim are the founders of RocketGro. Tim runs his family farm where RocketGro products are produced. Very hands on, Tim is in charge of infrastructure, product development, growing trials, overseeing the production team, packaging, back office, substrate sourcing, testing, quality assurance, the Bio-gas plant and more. Toby’s responsibilities include product design, branding, marketing, the website, social media, sales, customer care, client relationship management, trade shows, & strategy. Toby & Tim are very busy!
Sales
Andy
Andy heads up all things sales to our retail customers. With 30 years working in retail garden supply there isn’t much Andy hasn’t done. Andy works tirelessly to look after all our retail partners and consumer needs. Andy contacts and visits as many customers as possible and handles sales orders, queries and store activity across the entire UK, you will often find him travelling to his next appointment or discussing our exciting new product launches.
Logistics
Scott
Scott heads up logistics at RocketGro. With 20 years working in logistics our product is in a safe pair of hands. Managing a team of drivers and our fleet of arctic lorries, Scott organises RocketGro trade deliveries across the UK and into the Republic of Ireland. He also oversees the single pallet send outs, Parcel Force and our ecommerce shop.
Production
Will
Will heads up the running of our bagging and production facility. When he isn’t out on the RocketGro farm harvesting the Maize, Rye & Grass that go into the Bio-digesters, he can be found with his sleeves rolled up bagging and processing 100’s of pallets of RocketGro products at a time. Multi-talented, but happiest when operating big machinery.
Horticulturalist
Hannah
Hannah is our on-site horticulturist. She runs in-house trials, grows a variety of fruit, veg & flowers in our products and is designing and developing our RocketGro Garden.
Hannah refers to herself as ‘The one that grows stuff’ in our RocketGro team. She loves research and practical tasks so is always exploring ways to grow and develop.
Social Media
Kirsty
Kirsty is the self-confessed gardening, plant, allotment and grow your own addict, with a passion for gardening to help improve mental health and wellbeing. Kirsty has been a Peat-Free gardener for the past 4 years and loves using our RocketGro products.
Kirsty is really excited to be running RocketGro’s Social Media sites to help bring lots of Peat Free gardening and growing information to life through the use of all things RocketGro. Make sure you head over to our social media platforms to say hello.

Kate
Kate has a deep love of all thing’s plants – from vibrant houseplants to stunning gardens and growing your own fruit & veg, Kate knows all the tips and tricks for successful gardening.
Kate is a trained horticulturalist and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture. She has a wealth of experience working behind the scenes on many of your favourite gardening programmes – from researcher at BBC Gardener’s World, to Project Manager on Alan Titchmarsh’s Love Your Garden on ITV and the first two series of Garden Rescue with Charlie Dimmock.
Kate’s passion has always been to encourage as many people as possible to get the gardening bug and she created and ran a community garden for 10 years teaching all aspects of horticulture from veg growing to mini-beast habitat making and won silver gilt at Hampton Court Flower Show.

Lydia & Becks
Lydia and Becks are fundamental to the smooth running of our postage and packing operation. There isn’t a parcel that leaves us that isn’t sorted, packed, and carefully placed onto pallets ready for the daily Parcel Force & DPD collection, by these two key members of the team. Your RocketGro online order is in good hands with Lydia and Becks.
