HOW TO GROW

Sow seed in a seed tray using a good quality Seed compost. Then transplant out into well prepared ground from March until June by transferring seedlings with a good plug of starter compost to minimise root disruption. Make sure the ground has been finely prepared, or use a good quality Top Soil product to add that well prepared starting point for the seeds. If transferring into a container/trug/window box, use a good quality Herb compost with good drainage. It can be slow to germinate but once the seedlings have established thin the plants to small clumps at a distance of 60cm.

Pests and diseases:
Lemon balm is very hardy and does not suffer from much in the way of pests or diseases.
