Made from composted down Maize, Rye and Grass, N:P:K rich and a great source of readily available minerals and nutrients. This product is the ‘fines’ of our Soil Improver blended with locally sourced green compost. Produced in Somerset we import nothing to make our products, and we are proud to be 100% British. 100% sustainable and eco-friendly, our Lawn Feed product is a superior product that should be the starting point for every home owner that wants a lush green lawn. Naturally produced, sustainable and eco-friendly.

Using OUR LAWN FEED

Our Lawn Feed product is made to be scattered by hand, or raked over pre turf laying. Before opening your bag, give it a good shake to separate the fibre to make it easier to spread. Ideally empty your bag into a wheel barrow. This gives you easy access to the product and allows it to dry out in the sun before spreading if your product arrives moist. Each 40 litre bag will cover 6 m2 when scattered across your lawn in a sowing motion. The rain or water from your hosepipe or sprinkler will water in the product and help to slow release the nutrients to the roots of the grass. For best results use in the days before rain. Mow your lawn and then spread. Do not mow for a week after spreading. Or spread and then ‘mulch mow’ which is mowing without collecting the grass cuttings. The product has a natural aroma which will quickly pass after spreading.
